Epic Evolution: Miseno Launches the Arco Collection to Celebrate a Fabulous Decade

June 9, 2025

Back in January, I received an invitation from Miseno to attend its much-anticipated 10th-anniversary gala and high jewellery unveiling in Naples, Italy. Miseno is a brand that I have followed closely over the past decade, largely because of its intriguing transatlantic flair that blends Italian heritage and craftsmanship with the pizzazz of New York City. I’ve written about its fabulously feminine Baia and Ischia collections, as well as its one-of-a-kind pieces that always satisfy my thirst for colour. Now, I am pleased to present to you my highlights of the new Arco High Jewellery collection, which was formally showcased to the jewellery world at Couture from June 4-8, 2025.

I will admit to attending my fair share of fabulous jewellery galas over the years. However, there was something extra special about Miseno’s 10th anniversary celebrations at the historic Salone Margherita Theatre in May. The venue has preserved its late 19th-century charm, incorporating Art Nouveau-style rooms, 400 seats, marble floors, burgundy carpets, stained glass and raised boxes that one can imagine filled with aristocrats. It was the perfect venue for Miseno to spotlight its achievements over the past decade and for the brand’s founder, Antonio Cardamuro, to celebrate how far he has come personally. As an attendee, I was given such a gracious welcome and could feel how much heart and soul have gone into Miseno since 2015; the brand has never wavered in its commitment to Italian craftsmanship and channelling some of Antonio’s fondest childhood memories into precious, wearable jewels. His warm-hearted nature was reflected in the atmosphere on the night and helped to make my first trip to Naples an unforgettable one.

In addition to the jewellery preview and gala dinner, the Miseno team arranged a welcome cocktail party and a wine-tasting experience with a vineyard tour. However, they know me well enough by now! The brand kindly scheduled for me to take photographs of its Arco collection to share with you all, including the masterpiece Arco High Jewellery necklace with 34.67 carats of diamonds and 26.20 carats of turquoise in 18k white gold. I was immediately drawn to this piece not only because of its confident proportions but also because its undulating shape cleverly mirrors the Miseno logo.

Before I dive into some more Arco creations, let’s step back a bit to discuss the inspirations behind the collection. As mentioned, it’s a celebration of a decade in business, but it’s also a tribute to the Arco Felice, which has long been one of Antonio Cardamuro’s most significant muses. This Roman archway in the Gulf of Naples was believed to bring love and happiness to anyone who walked through it, hence the shape of the Miseno logo and its leaning towards joyful, uplifting and optimistic jewellery making. What’s even more impressive is that this architectural feat was conceptualised in 95 AD, so it is safe to say that its inspired engineering has stood the test of time!

We have always envisioned a strong, bold, signature collection that truly captures the essence of Miseno. The timing never felt right to launch something of this magnitude until now. With ten years of history now written, Antonio Cardamuro.

The wider Arco collection is crafted with turquoise, coral and mother of pearl to evoke this Mediterranean inspiration, as well as a range of multi-coloured sapphires and diamonds for an elevated feel. All the pieces originate from Miseno’s newly established workshop in Valenza, Italy, demonstrating its expertise (and dedication) to Italian artistry. Personally, I was blown away by a series of elaborately adorned cuff bracelets, including the Arco cuff with white diamonds, blue sapphires and Colombian emeralds, and the Baia Sommersa cuff with diamonds and blue and pink sapphires, both in 18k yellow gold. The slightly more streamlined Arco bracelet with 7.88 carats of pink sapphires, 4.99 carats of diamonds and mother of pearl inlay is also a beautiful new addition.

There are more necklaces to swoon over, too, including the Arco choker with diamonds, the Arco pendant with mother of pearl, 6.16 carats of pink tourmaline, pink sapphires and diamonds, and the Arco necklace with cushion-cut Colombian emeralds and diamonds, all in 18k yellow gold. These can be worn alone or paired with other new additions with similar combinations of coloured gemstones to create elaborate suites and parures.

Katerina Perez wears the Miseno Arco High Jewellery choker necklace with 5.09 carats of white diamonds alongside the Arco High Jewellery pendant with 3.73 carats of pink sapphires, 1.84 carats of mother of pearl, 6.16 carats of pink tourmaline, and 1.74 carats of diamonds, both in 18k yellow gold

It is also worth noting that among the high jewellery creations are a series of Arco fine jewels with a wide range of price points. What unites all these pieces is the quality of the finishing and the impeccable details, as well the comfortable wearability. If there’s one thing that Italian craftspeople have mastered above all others it’s the art of producing comfortable, ergonomic jewels. When you touch and feel as many pieces as I do, you will discover that this is something of a national signature of Italy!

The jewellery world is filled with brands that have been around for more than a hundred years, but that’s not to say younger brands can’t compete with their prowess. While navigating the hallways of the Salone Margherita, I kept thinking about the path that Miseno has taken, its commitment to quality, its family ethos, and its approach to Italian artistry. All this is beautifully captured in the Arco collection, which I am excited for more people to witness in Las Vegas and beyond.
