The Mouzannar family are globally renowned as leading fine jewelers in the Middle East. Established in the mid-18th century the brand was transformed in the 1950’s with the contributions from the late brothers, Aziz and Walid Mouzannar who established the Mouzannar Jeweller’s Souk as the ultimate jewellery destination for the entire Middle East.
Unfortunately the Souk was demolished during the Lebanese Civil War, however this did not affect the prestige of the Mouzannar family, whose reputation still holds prominence in the jewellery industry today. The House of Aziz and Walid Mouzannar is now run by six-generation cousins Dori and Alia Mouzannar, taking the family’s signature Middle Eastern and antiquity inspired creations and adding a refined, contemporary aesthetic. The result is two diverse, but connected collections by each designer with a timeless elegance and emotional substance.

Alia Mouzannar aspires to introduce high-end jewellery as an extension of one’s personality. Her Modular collection is a channel of communication between the inner oriental spirit and the western practical way of life.
Alia’s Cache rings are her signature design. The design came to fruition after she inherited a beautiful ring from her mother-in-law. But it was not quite her style. Alia came up with a way of modernising it by playing with perception. She developed an outer casing that concealed some elements but framed and highlighted the others. “The most beautiful part for me is that I created something new from something old. I achieved this without altering a thing,” says Alia.
Dori Mouzannar’s Meteor collection is inspired by meteor rocks. She crafts multi-dimensional pieces that are spatially organic and uses up to 25 different sizes of diamonds, which are sometimes set upside down.
The inspiration for the Lava collection comes from nature. The bold statement rings resemble molten lava that has been frozen for eternity. The collection consists of rings that are designed in pink and oxidised gold set with diamonds and, of course, a signature ruby.
