Maestro of Masterpieces: New High Jewels in the Picchiotti Classics Collection
Ahead of this year’s Couture show in Las Vegas, Picchiotti has revealed some of the latest additions to its high jewellery repertoire, including new suites in the Picchiotti Classics collection. What struck me most about these new pieces is how perfectly they encapsulate the core tenets of the Picchiotti brand, including superlative gemstones, and both architectural and natural design inspirations, including feminine florals, geometric arrays of baguette-cut diamonds, and sophisticated colour combinations. Let’s explore the new Picchiotti high jewellery creations that are guaranteed to attract attention in Las Vegas, as well as some of the fine jewellery treasures and core collection updates that one can expect to uncover this season…
Picchiotti is a brand we know well here at KaterinaPerez.com. Its signature Italian style, crafted in Valenza for more than 55 years, has maintained strict standards of quality, craftsmanship and elegance while also innovating and moving with the tastes of the times. The brand was founded by Giuseppe Picchiotti in the late 1960s and is today spearheaded by his three children, Maria Carola, Filippo and Umberto, who share the same dedication to timelessness in design.

It is important to me that my jewellery endures. I want my designs to be worn for many generations to come, and I enjoy the challenge of balancing the past and present to create jewellery that will sparkle well into the future. – Giuseppe Picchiotti
In my eyes, this approach is best exemplified by the Picchiotti Classics collection, which really considers the timeless requirements of experienced jewellery connoisseurs and collectors. Pieces are sensitively designed with attention to detail, elegance, and lifelong sophistication in mind. These are jewels that a 1950s Hollywood icon could have worn, but equally, they don’t look out of place in a modern-day setting, worn with a simple button-down white shirt. For 2025, the Classics collection has been updated with new masterpieces loosely organised into five chapters – Flowers, Impeccably Picchiotti, Waves, Burma Superstar, and Classic Blue and Green. All of these are indicative of something intrinsic and important to the DNA of Picchiotti high jewellery, whether that’s using rare gemstones, demonstrating an adeptness with baguette-cut diamonds, or innovating with flexible and adaptable construction techniques. Picchiotti describes this as “a quintessentially Italian, dynamic and innovative design and sensibility expressing unsurpassed creativity and exquisite craftsmanship,” which seems like the perfect summary of its distinctive approach.

Picchiotti Xpandable cocktail rings, including an octagonal-shaped Zambian emerald of 5.27 carats, set alongside baguette-cut diamonds of 2.02 carats and round brilliant-cut diamonds and an octagonal-shaped Sri Lankan cornflower blue sapphire of 3.72 carats, baguette-cut diamonds and round brilliant-cut diamonds, both in 18k white gold
So, what can we look forward to witnessing in Las Vegas? The savoir-faire of the House is on full display in new high jewellery sets, including Impeccably Picchiotti, a suite of architectural jewels featuring a distinctive combination of baguette-cut diamonds framed between buff-top rubies and thin lines of onyx. There’s something pleasingly Art Deco about these pieces, which is fitting considering 2025 is the 100th anniversary of this ageless design movement. Among them are two Picchiotti Xpandable creations – a bracelet and a ring – both of which demonstrate a hidden mechanism that expands and contracts to ensure a comfortable fit. Of course, these aren’t the only Xpandable innovations for 2025… there are sensational cocktail rings, opaque stone bracelets, fancy yellow diamond versions and matching monochromatic rings and bracelets to choose from. Highlights include a ring with a 5.41-carat octagonal-shaped emerald from Colombia, another with a 7.13-carat radiant-cut fancy yellow diamond, and a third with an oval-shaped cornflower-blue Sri Lankan sapphire of 3.72 carats.
Next in Picchiotti Classics, there’s the Waves line, including a pair of earrings, a bracelet, and a ring with undulating lines of round brilliant-cut white diamonds. The earrings are especially striking with 11.25 carats of diamonds that start more densely arranged in three ripples around the earlobe only to descend into more delicate lines, tipped with two round brilliant-cut gems. If you are drawn to the sleekness of this white-diamond-on-white-metal look, you may also appreciate some new fine jewellery additions, including a pretty bow necklace, a pair of ribbon-like earrings, and the Rhombus Diamond suite with a necklace, a pair of earrings and matching ring.

The new Flower suite in the Picchiotti Classics includes a cascading bib necklace, drop earrings, and a cocktail ring, each set with diamonds in 18k white gold. The openwork petal design creates a sense of summery lightness in this suite, especially in the necklace that’s set with more than 20 carats of diamonds. Further creations include a slightly simpler Flowers necklace with a trio of falling blooms, a pair of stud earrings and a second ring with subtle differences in diamond placement.
Speaking of flowers, the Picchiotti Rose is something I have always associated with the brand. Among its fine jewellery offerings for 2025 is a series of new rose-inspired creations, including two sensational rings with a mixture of Sri Lankan oval-shaped blue sapphires, tsavorites and diamonds. Elegant pins, stud earrings, rings, and necklaces are also available should you wish to curate a complete rose garden of elegant blooms!

A model wears the Picchiotti Burma Super Star set from the Picchiotti Classics collection, including a pair of earrings with 2.01 carats of pear-shaped Burmese rubies, further Burnese rubies of nearly 14 carats, and pear-shaped, marquise-shaped and round brilliant-cut diamonds totalling 6.54 carats, all set in 18k white gold
The final two chapters in the Picchiotti Classics collection are all about saturated, striking and high-quality colour. Let’s start with the Burma Superstar, a necklace featuring more than 100 carats of pear-cut and fancy heart-shaped pigeon’s blood Burmese rubies combined with more than 50 carats of pear-cut and brilliant-cut diamonds. This is accompanied by a pair of chandelier earrings and an unusual ring with Thai and Burmese rubies, a cushion-cut diamond, a marquise-cut diamond and a 4.43-carat oval-shaped diamond with a contrasting light-yellow hue. If you appreciate the chandelier aesthetic, you will be pleased to hear that Picchiotti has a new fine jewellery collection (helpfully called Chandelier) with earrings and pendants set with diamonds and blue Sri Lankan sapphires. Undoubtedly, this classical shape is a signature of the House.
Lastly, under the banner of ‘Classic Blue and Green’, there’s the Emerald Wonder Necklace with an impressive layout of 22 octagonal emeralds in a precise baguette diamond setting. Sinuous rows of baguette diamonds enhance the emeralds and come together in the centre to create a striking necklace in a bib style. The architectural silhouette showcases the Picchiotti high jewellery mastery with perfect workmanship and exceptional gemstones.

The pieces mentioned here are just a portion of Picchiotti’s 2025 line-up, which also includes bridal jewels and new Gem Ceramics creations featuring titanium-infused ceramic, opaque coloured stones, and faceted gems. Although there’s plenty of choice for luxury seekers, there’s an unmistakably ‘Picchiotti’ aesthetic to each and every piece. Trust me when I say this is far harder to achieve than you might expect! It’s a sign that a brand doesn’t just produce beautiful jewels but has its own distinctive and incomparable DNA.
