The source of inspiration for the four new diamond watches was a specific moment: at the Chelsea Flower Show, Rebecca Hawkins noticed how raindrops glide over the marble sculpture. At first this memory is formed by the basis of the Raindance jewelry collection, consisting of earrings, rings, bracelets and necklaces with diamonds in a nest frame. Boodles first chosen water as the main theme. As early as 2000, many sketches were made: the memoirs and sensations of Rebecca took on the form of precious ornaments. This year, taking up the collection of exquisite watches of Raindance, she again turned to these sketches.
The watch case is made of 18 carat white or pink gold, and the dial is made of mother-of-pearl or blue adventurine. The watch is decorated with round diamonds in a brilliant cut - they belong to the FG color range and have the purity of VVS / VS. Decorative patterns are made up of "splashes" - diamonds in a nest frame. Despite the fact that the crystals are scattered randomly, because in nature there is no ideal symmetry. When creating the watch Raindance, as in the original collection of the same name, the round drops are used, which are reflected in each of their elements.
