Veronica Morales Angulo is a professional jewellery and architecture photographer with over 15 years of experience. As is evident in her work, no matter how big or small the object she is capturing, her attention to detail allows Veronica to showcase it in the best way possible.

One morning during lockdown, Veronica was taking a shower and thinking of everything that was happening in the world; how people were staying in their homes for days. “I was imagining jewels being locked up as well, not seeing the light of the day to sparkle, longing to be taken out of safes to be enjoyed again. Next thing – I remember running out of the shower, got dressed in seconds, and started depicting my visions through a series of images with jewellery locked inside buildings.” It took Veronica several days do finalise the first few images, but the series did not feel complete without “the virus-eating snake that emerged from one of the buildings, allowing other jewels to follow and come out of their lockdown”.
